HVAC Service Technician

Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems across the greater Sacramento area. In this customer-focused, safety-minded, and team-oriented role, you will perform troubleshooting, system tune-ups, and emergency service, recommend solutions, and ensure high-quality workmanship. Technicians receive ongoing technical and safety training, opportunities to expand skills into plumbing, and a clear path for growth within a respected regional contractor committed to integrity and reliable service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC components and controls
• Communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to customers
• Document work performed, parts used, and system status in service tickets
• Follow safety procedures, codes, and company standards on every job
• Operate company vehicle and maintain tools, equipment, and inventory
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to complete daily schedules
• Support occasional plumbing-related service opportunities as trained
• Provide on-call or emergency service as scheduled
