Do you have experience with industrial controls, process automation, and Allen-Bradley systems? Our client, a growing engineering and automation firm, is seeking an Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Control Engineer to join a close-knit team supporting critical industrial operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gain mentorship from an experienced engineer, and grow into a key technical leadership position within the organization.
JOB DETAILS :
Pay: $90,000 - $160,000+ annually, depending on experience
Location:
Hybrid opportunity based in the Twin Cities metro area;
Minnesota residency required
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, standard business hours, 8-hour shifts

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement, and support industrial automation and process control systems.
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, and related control systems.
Manage projects from concept through commissioning, including planning, equipment specification, installation support, and startup activities.
Serve as a technical resource for field technicians, project teams, and customers.
Support upgrades, modernizations, maintenance initiatives, and new system deployments.
Coordinate project schedules, materials, vendors, and implementation activities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project records.
Travel periodically to customer sites for commissioning, troubleshooting, and project support.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of engineering experience with a strong controls and automation focus.
Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley hardware and software.
Process control and industrial automation experience.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Ability to travel approximately 10% within the United States.
Must reside in Minnesota and be able to access the office as needed.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, commissioning, and industrial troubleshooting is highly desired.
