The Tax Analyst supports corporate tax activities in our global U.S. multinational company and plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing the organization’s tax position. This role involves conducting thorough research, preparing tax returns, and assisting in tax planning initiatives.
Additionally, this role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to support accurate and timely tax reporting and helps drive effective tax strategies in alignment with international and domestic tax laws.
The Tax Analyst assists with the preparation of tax compliance, global tax provision calculations, process improvement projects, and other tax department projects as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities 65% Tax Compliance- Assist with tax return preparation including US federal income tax return and supporting calculations.
- US state income tax returns and supporting calculations.
- Quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions.
- Annual US tax information returns for non-US subsidiaries (Forms 5471 and 8858).
- Monthly sales and use tax compliance obligations.
- Assist on a quarterly and/or annual basis with US tax provision calculations including book to tax differences.
- State tax provision calculations.
- Prepare certain US account reconciliations.
- Prepare federal and state return to accrual calculations.
- Assist as needed with improvements regarding tax compliance processes and information gathering.
- Tax planning and other tax department projects.
- Research changes in federal and state tax law and rates.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor's or University Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience with One Source preferred.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $71,000 - $91,000.
