, our Procurement team plays a critical role in keeping our business moving. As a Strategic Sourcing Category Lead – Logistics, you'll lead sourcing and category management for Logistics across North America, partnering with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Manufacturing to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and reliable logistics solutions.
From developing sourcing strategies and leading competitive bid events to negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier performance, you'll play a key role in driving business results while building strong partnerships across the organization.
What You’ll DoLead strategic sourcing and category management for assigned Logistics categories.
Develop and execute category strategies that improve cost, service, supplier performance, and business continuity.
Manage end-to-end sourcing events, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
Build strong supplier relationships and drive performance through ongoing collaboration and continuous improvement.
Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Manufacturing to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier performance to identify savings opportunities and mitigate risk.
Present sourcing recommendations and market insights to key stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen procurement processes and category performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, logistics, or supply chain.
Experience leading or supporting RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier negotiations, and sourcing projects.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Experience with ERP systems or procurement platforms.
Experience developing category strategies and leading sourcing initiatives.
Logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain procurement experience.
Experience managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
Manufacturing or industrial industry experience.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $90,000-$100,000.
