Gable Pines recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role is responsible for assistance in maintaining aspects of the physical plant. Conducting, under supervisor direction, preventative maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes, building equipment and plumbing repairs; maintains a safe working environment and assists other department employees as needed.

• Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall coverings, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
• Receive service requests and responds in a timely manner
• Perform routine painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, as directed by supervisor
• Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor
• Assist, during winter, with snow removal efforts as necessary

• High School diploma or equivalent in training, education, and experience
• Minimum one year experience in building maintenance
• One year or more experience in apartment and/or healthcare community maintenance
