Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to join our team in Vadodara for a full-time, on-site role. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting electrical equipment, including transformers, switch gear, and power distribution systems. Day-to-day tasks include conducting field testing, performing preventive maintenance, assisting with equipment commissioning, and providing technical support for electrical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards and deliver high-quality work in alignment with the company's mission.
Qualifications
Installation and Maintenance

Skills:

Proficiency in installing and maintaining transformers, LV/MV switch gear, circuit breakers, control panels, and electrical cables.
Technical Knowledge and Testing:
Expertise in conducting electrical tests such as winding resistance, turns ratio, protection relay calibration, and power quality analysis.
Field Service

Experience:

Hands-on experience with transformer pre-commissioning, functional testing, protective equipment troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance techniques.
Safety and Compliance Awareness:
Comprehensive knowledge of international safety standards, regulatory compliance, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
Education and

Certifications:

Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications in electrical installations or testing are a plus.
Problem-Solving and Technical Communication:
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to effectively communicate technical information with team members and stakeholders.
Adaptability and Teamwork:
Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments and adapt to diverse project requirements.
