Vail Valley Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a faithful and godly man to serve as a Preaching Elder among a plurality of elders.

We are a Reformed Baptist church that loves the Lord Jesus Christ and is committed to the authority and sufficiency of His Word. By God’s grace, we desire to grow as a people marked by humility, sound doctrine, sincere love, and a deepening joy in the gospel. Our longing is to see Christ exalted as His Word is faithfully preached, His ordinances rightly observed, and His people tenderly shepherded.

About Our Church

The Lord has been kind to sustain and grow our congregation over the years, and we are thankful for a church family that values:

• Christ-centered, expository preaching
• Meaningful church membership and discipleship
• A shared commitment to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith
• A plurality of elders who seek to shepherd the flock together in unity and love

We are located in Vail, Arizona, a growing community in the southeast Tucson area.

Qualifications

The man we are seeking should:

• Meet the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9
• Wholeheartedly affirm the doctrines summarized in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith
• Possess an M.Div. or educational equivalent
• Be devoted to Christ, His church, and the faithful exposition of Scripture
• Demonstrate a shepherd’s heart—humble, approachable, patient, and grounded in the truth
