Job Overview

Now hiring Class A CDL HAZMAT Drivers in the Benson/Curtiss, AZ terminal. Hourly pay plus bonuses; projected earnings up to $85,000 annually. $500 quarterly safety bonus. 2 consecutive days off. Local and regional loads for more home time.

Load, transport, and deliver products, including sulfuric acid and ammonium nitrate in pneumatic and tanker trailers to mines and aggregate sites throughout Arizona and New Mexico. Drivers are typically home daily and run local and regional routes. Work schedules vary depending on business needs. Coaches are dedicated, trailers are shared, and slip‑seating is expected. The company operates 24/7/365. Acid operations outside require a chemical‑resistant acid suit, rubber gloves, rubber boots, a full‑face respirator, and other required PPE while in a “Hot Zone.”

Clean‑shaven daily is required for respirator use.

• Valid Class A CDL
• HAZMAT & tank endorsements required; double/triple preferred
• Minimum 23 years of age
• 1‑year experience operating a combination vehicle (less experience may be considered with training)
• Valid DOT physical
• No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years
• No major violations within the previous 5 years
• Ability to pass a satisfactory road test
• Ability to pass a controlled substance test at pre‑employment
• Authorized access to mine site properties
• Must be able to operate a manual 10‑speed configuration
• Must be insured under the company’s vehicle insurance policy
• Must comply with FMCSA hours of service regulations and be available for work when hours are available
• Must be able to work varying hours and schedules, including occasional overnight stays on short notice
• Must handle stressful situations, make quick decisions, and react rapidly
• Must be able to crawl on hands and knees to open and close bottom hatches on the underside of the trailer
• Must occasionally lift, carry, pull, push or move up to 70 pounds
• Must climb stairs or ladders and work at elevations up to 14 feet
• Must sit, drive, shift gears and stay awake for long periods of time
