With a legacy rooted in precision, safety, and integrity, we are looking to strengthen our leadership team with a skilled Business Manager who can help guide our growth.
Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Manager with a strong foundation in accounting and business operations. This role will oversee financial performance, manage administrative functions, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day business operations, including budgeting, payroll, and cash flow management.
- Maintain accurate financial records, prepare monthly and quarterly reports, and collaborate with external accountants as needed.
- Manage accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely billing and collections.
- Monitor project budgets and job costing to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Lead HR functions such as hiring, onboarding, and compliance tracking.
- Collaborate with leadership on business development, vendor contracts, and operational planning.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations relevant to construction and finance.
- Sales tax administration for gravel sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. (Not required but, strongly suggested)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business or financial management (construction industry preferred).
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of GAAP financial principles, job costing, and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
