About the OpportunityWe are looking for an MRI Tech who takes pride in delivering exceptional imaging quality and patient care. In this role, you’ll perform MRI and X-ray examinations
, support smooth workflow across the department, and play a key part in providing a seamless, compassionate patient experience.
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (varied day shifts)
Location: Beautiful Vail Valley, CO
Perform all MRI and radiographic exams in accordance with Vail Health protocols.
Review images for quality and accuracy; ensure timely submission to radiologists.
Ensure patient identification, documentation, and exam orders are accurate and consistent.
Communicate clearly with patients, families, providers, and care teams to support continuity of care.
Maintain department standards in confidentiality, safety, infection control, radiation protection, and quality assurance.
Utilize Vail Health’s HIS and PACS systems to ensure accurate patient documentation.
Keep exam rooms clean, orderly, and stocked; monitor supplies and notify staff when needed.
Serve as a role model of Just Culture principles.
Other duties as assigned; must maintain HIPAA compliance.
1-2 years of MRI Tech experience preferred
ARRT registry in radiography required
Previous healthcare experience required
ARRT RT(R)(MR)
BLS Certification
Completion of all educational and clinical requirements for ARRT eligibility.
Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.
Hourly Pay: $44.64 – $61.60 USD
