Pay Range:
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,250.00(subject to completion of scheduled hours)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Days – 4x8-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Use principles of aseptic practice in varying situations
• Inspect sterile items for contamination before opening
• Maintain sterility while opening sterile items for procedure
• Anticipate the need for supplies and equipment
• Check supplies for outdates, restock operating room, and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory
• Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to the surgeon
• Help apply dressings and prepare/preserve specimens for testing
• Operate sterilizers and run tests to validate sterilization of surgical instruments

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech / OR Tech
• Current Surgical Technologist certification required (CST or equivalent)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• Active Colorado state license required (must be currently active)
• Holiday coverage not required
• Locals are accepted – no radius restriction
