Tasting Room Manager 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company – Vail Village, CO

10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company is seeking an experienced, guest-focused Tasting Room Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Vail Village tasting room. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who loves creating memorable guest experiences, building strong teams, and representing a premium Colorado spirits brand steeped in Colorado and military history.

About the role

The Tasting Room Manager oversees front-of-house operations, staff scheduling, service standards, sales performance, and guest satisfaction. You’ll help ensure every visitor has an exceptional experience while supporting the success of the tasting room as a high-traffic destination in Vail Village.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations of the tasting room.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and coach tasting room staff.
  • Deliver outstanding hospitality and product knowledge to every guest.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, service, and presentation.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures.
  • Oversee point-of-sale operations, inventory coordination, and cash handling.
  • Support sales goals, events, and special promotions.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Work closely with ownership and leadership on staffing and performance.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hospitality, tasting room, restaurant, retail, or beverage service management is not required but helpful.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of spirits, whiskey, or beverage service preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal periods.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
