Role Overview

The Spa Assistant Manager will assist the Director of Spa with retail operations and day‑to‑day spa management. Responsibilities include overseeing the Spa Concierge, Spa Attendants, and Retail Outlet; staffing, training, guest service delivery, retail promotions and events; payroll; and maintaining supplies and equipment.

What You Will Do
  • Assist the Assistant Spa Director in overseeing day‑to‑day spa operations and continually improving the guest experience.
  • Support training of spa staff to exceed standards, collaborating with the Learning Manager and designated trainers to create effective learning environments.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead spa employees, providing clear guidance and fostering strong employee morale.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings to communicate hotel policies, changes, and opportunities to increase sales and service.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Housekeeping, and Laundry to maintain the quality, mechanical operation, cleanliness, and special requirements of all spa equipment and facilities.
  • Keep the Assistant Spa Director and Director of Leisure & Wellness informed about departmental performance, employee achievements, guest concerns, and additional duties as needed.
What You Bring
  • Minimum 1+ year leadership experience in a luxury spa.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and passion for spa, wellness, and holistic modalities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
  • Elevated leadership skills, cross‑cultural sensitivity, and a customer‑service orientation.
  • Guest‑centric mindset and understanding of guest preferences.
  • Proficient computer usage and knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Fluency in English and current U.S. work authorization.
