This position is responsible for producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests’ needs in a timely manner. Responsibilities include menu development and design, monitoring food production, quality and consistency, staffing levels, and assisting in departmental training. In‑depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations are vital for this role. Key skills and knowledge areas include culinary education, cost control, communication skills, computer skills, organizational skills, guest contact experience, and culinary teaching skills.

Salary starts at $80,000‑$90,000; actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a specialized sushi chef in a hotel or large restaurant
• Experience with luxury brands preferred
