Director of Banquets – Transitional Housing Options Available – Annual Bonus – Great Benefits

Salary: $95,000 – $120,000 per year.

High-end resort in a mountain community. Transitional housing options are available.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and dynamic Permanent Director of Banquets to oversee all aspects of banquet operations, from planning to execution. The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

Oversee all banquet operations, including planning, organizing, and execution of all banquet events.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, developing tailored banquet plans to meet and exceed expectations.

Manage and lead a banquet staff team, providing training and support to ensure exceptional service.

Develop and manage banquet budgets, ensuring cost‑effective operations within budget.

Work closely with the culinary team to develop and implement innovative and delicious menus.

Ensure banquet facilities are well‑maintained, clean, and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve banquet operations, implementing new processes and technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of banquet or F&B experience in a similar role.

Degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.

Exceptional leadership and team‑management skills, with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent customer‑service skills and ability to build strong client relationships.

Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Strong problem‑solving skills, think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
