About Us
Eagle Valley Child Care Association (EVCCA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education in Eagle County. We serve children ages 8 weeks to 5 years across three centers and continue to grow to meet the needs of local families.
Our mission is to provide high-quality early learning programs to the children of Eagle County by:
- Providing a developmentally appropriate, discovery-based learning environment that supports every child’s cognitive, language, motor, social, and emotional development.
- Providing supportive parenting guidance to every family enrolled in our programs.
- Providing the business community with a way to ensure quality care for their employees through our Business Partner Program.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that children of all abilities are naturally curious and capable learners. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our centers view children as active participants in their own learning, with teachers serving as guides, collaborators, and caregivers. We believe meaningful learning happens through relationships, exploration, and discovery, and we foster environments where children are encouraged to investigate their interests, express their ideas, and build confidence as lifelong learners.
