Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO. Minimum of 2 years OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license required.

Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule:

8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (5 x 8 hrs per day)

Shift: Days

• Circulate duties in the OR, including patient safety oversight, medication administration, and procedural assistance.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform competent patient assessments, prioritization, and critical thinking in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Provide patient and family education to support plan of care and informed healthcare decision-making.
• Delegate care appropriately in accordance with Colorado nursing statutes.
• Apply Relationship-Based Care principles to advocate for patient safety, preferences, and communication.
• Uphold Just Culture principles and organizational values.

• Active CO RN license or valid compact state RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• HIPAA compliance required.

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
