Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and active CO or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Position is based at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO,

• OR Circulator role within a surgical services setting,

• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts per week,

• 13-week contract duration,

Job Requirements

• Active CO RN license or valid compact state RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required,

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,

• HIPAA compliance required,

• Responsible for circulating duties in the OR, including patient safety oversight, medication administration, and procedural assistance,

• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes,

• Performs competent patient assessments, prioritization, and critical thinking in a fast-paced surgical environment,

• Provides patient and family education to support plan of care and informed healthcare decision-making,

• Delegates care appropriately in accordance with Colorado nursing statutes,

• Applies Relationship-Based Care principles to advocate for patient safety, preferences, and communication,
