HVAC Service Technician

Golden Eagle Heating, Cooling & Drain Cleaning is hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team.

We are a locally owned company serving the Vail Valley and surrounding areas. We take pride in providing dependable service, quality workmanship, and an excellent customer experience.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
• Service furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, and mini-splits
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
• Clearly explain findings and repair options to customers
• Complete job notes, estimates, photographs, and other required documentation
• Communicate job updates and material needs to the office
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
• Follow company procedures, manufacturer requirements, and safety standards
• Provide professional and respectful customer service

• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service experience
• Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment independently
• Mechanical knowledge of compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, and related components
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Familiarity with construction practices and property-maintenance standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
• EPA certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and varying weather conditions
