The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for providing installation and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will work with the Company to obtain local city listing agents. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.
Position is located in Vail/Eagle, Colorado.
Job Responsibilities
- Service and Installation of fire alarm systems.
- Crew leadership: lead and direct FA crew in daily work, assign duties ensure quality of work
- Coordination with Project Management and GC
- Installation of fire alarm systems.
- Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
- Material management- communicate material needs and identification of shortages to PM
- Conduit
- Perform conduit installation and layout - Documentation:
Maintain daily reports to PM - Final Inspections and coordination with AHJ
- Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
Job Qualifications
- Fire Alarm installation and service experience
- Experience with Seimens systems is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints
- NICET Level II certification in fire alarm
- Certification operating scissor lifts
- Excellent communications, and customer service skills.
- Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
