Maintenance Technician-Operator II: $29.65 – $35.58/hr.

What You’ll DoAs a Streets Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep our roads, pathways, and public spaces safe and beautiful year‑round.
Key responsibilities include:
- Snow Plowing & Maintenance – Keep roads clear and safe during winter storms.
- Street Upkeep – Operate heavy equipment for sweeping, weed control, asphalt repair, and more.
- Fleet Support – Assist with maintaining Town vehicles and equipment.
- Emergency Support – Be “on call” for snowplowing, water leaks, and other urgent needs.
- Possess a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of hire and be insurable under Town standards.
- Live within 45 miles of the Town of Eagle Public Works Facility (1050 Chambers Avenue, Eagle, CO). Total travel time should not exceed 60 minutes at posted driving speeds.
- Pass a pre‑hire drug test, motor vehicle check, and criminal background check.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

For Maintenance Technician-Operator I- Hourly Range: $26.84 – $32.21. Hiring Bonus: $1,500 paid in first paycheck and $1,500 paid at 6‑month anniversary, based on performance.
- Some experience with maintenance, landscaping, or construction preferred – but we’re happy to train the right candidate!
- Ability to obtain a Colorado Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 6–9 months preferred.
- Hourly Range: $29.65 – $35.58. Hiring Bonus: $1,500 paid in first paycheck and $1,500 paid at 6‑month anniversary, based on performance.
- 2–5 years’ experience in street maintenance or operating heavy equipment required.
- CO Class B CDL and basic computer skills required.
