Responsibilities

The Clinical Assistant is an expanded role for the Certified Nursing Assistant and functions as a member of the nursing staff, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, focusing on performing functional tasks that maintain the orderliness of the nursing unit and contribute to the effective overall functioning of the clinical area.

• Successful completion of a state‑approved nursing assistant course.
• Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.

• At least 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver.

Pay range: $22.05 – $33.74 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
