Responsibilities- Perform general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions in support of a unit or office.
- Enter data and process documents and records.
- Operate standard office equipment.
- Work under the close supervision of a clerical or administrative supervisor.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform basic office functions and computer related duties.
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
Employees may use wellness breaks during the workday to support health and well‑being. A maximum of 30 minutes per day may be used, generally as two 15‑minute breaks or one 30‑minute break.
Employment InformationCurrent State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.
DPH accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the U.S. Department of Education (DOE).
Candidates may be subject to pre‑employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
Employees may be required to assist in emergency responsibilities of the department as a term and condition of employment.
