Express Technician (Lube Technician)

Location: O'Steen Volkswagen & Subaru of Valdosta
Department: Service
Reports To: Service Manager / Shop Foreman
Position Type: Full-Time (Onsite)

You'll work alongside experienced technicians in a clean, organized shop that values teamwork, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Compensation

Annual Pay Range: $24,000 – $30,000 per year
(Based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do
  • Perform oil and filter changes to manufacturer specifications

  • Rotate and balance tires; replace tires as needed

  • Replace cabin and engine air filters, wiper blades

  • Test and replace batteries; top off fluids

  • Measure tread depth and brake pad wear

  • Perform digital multi-point inspections and video inspections

  • Document findings accurately using inspection software

  • Communicate vehicle needs clearly to Service Advisors

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused experience

What We're Looking For
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

  • Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Comfortable using computers for documentation

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment

  • Basic mechanical tools are a plus (not required)
