We are pleased to offer a unique faculty opportunity for a board-certified Family Medicine physician to serve as a teaching preceptor for our Family Medicine Residency Program s continuity clinic. This position is ideal for a physician passionate about medical education, mentorship, and outpatient primary care.Position Overview-Full-time, Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

-Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.

-No call responsibilities.

-Hospital-employed faculty role within SGMC Health's Graduate Medical Education (GME) clinic.

-Serve as a clinical preceptor, supervising and mentoring Family Medicine residents in their continuity clinic.

-Guide residents in evidence-based patient care, professional development, and practice management.

-Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Georgia.

-Passionate about quality improvement, evidence-based medicine, and resident education.

-EPIC electronic medical record experience is a plus.
