8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday
- Friday

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Provide appropriate developmental and academic education to daycare aged children in a safe, secure, nurturing classroom environment.
• Prepare written instructional objectives by stating long-term goals for each student and document a projected schedule of activities.
• Manage and structure classroom/nursery according to Therapeutic Childcare, State, and center policy guidelines.
• Ensure the structure and discipline of the classroom at all times.
• Work with parents to promote learning, appropriate supervision, rules, and boundaries, using positive reinforcement to correct problem behaviors.
• Engage families by providing parents information regarding the children’s activities and behaviors.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• GA driver’s license.
• At least one year of child care experience.
• Willingness or possession of one of the following credentials:
  Child Development Associate credential issued by Council for Professional Recognition;
  Technical Certificate of Credit in Early Childhood Education; or Technical College Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or higher.
