Project Management & Inspections Future Opportunity
CSEngineering is seeking a Project Management & Inspections (PMI) Professional to support government civil engineering programs. This role is responsible for planning, programming, budgeting, coordinating, inspecting, and executing construction and renovation projects across multiple infrastructure programs.
The ideal candidate will provide technical oversight of design and construction activities, validate project requirements, and ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, cost, and regulatory compliance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Support requirements programming across O&M, MILCON, NAF, MFH, and other infrastructure programs.
- Plan, budget, and execute construction and renovation projects across complex facilities and installation systems.
- Develop government cost estimates and support funding submissions using approved estimating tools.
- Assess constructability and evaluate impacts of short- and long-range development initiatives.
- Validate requirements using engineering systems, criteria, and construction best practices.
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and contract solicitation documents.
- Provide technical support during contract negotiations and assist Contracting Officers as required.
- Coordinate design efforts between in-house engineering teams and private A/E firms throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and disseminate drawings and specifications during design phases.
- Perform preconstruction site surveys and identify potential risks or constraints.
- Track project status and prepare program and budget reports for leadership review.
- Maintain project documentation within required engineering databases.
- Review contractor deliverables including design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, drawings, and specifications.
- Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site visits to perform independent technical assessments and provide reporting.
- Prepare and review change orders and support contract modifications.
- Ensure compliance with Fiscal Law and applicable federal construction regulations.
- Provide technical consultation to resolve project challenges and update stakeholders on progress.
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field OR
- Minimum 3+ years of on-site construction project management experience.
- Experience with federal construction regulations and project programming systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering guidance, construction criteria, and regulatory standards.
- Experience with cost estimating tools and engineering databases.
- Strong coordination skills working with contractors, A/E firms, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
