Job Summary
Provide customer service and document processing support for the financial aid process. Resolve more difficult financial aid and customer service issues.
Responsibilities- Analyze and process financial aid documents and maintain related files (25%).
- Resolve more complex financial aid and customer service issues (15%).
- Finalize completed applications for the awards process; scans and indexes documents (15%).
- Maintain student financial aid application files and reviews for completeness (20%).
- Assist financial aid applicants by providing accurate information, appropriate materials, and procedural instructions for completing the FAFSA and scholarship, grant, and loan applications; resolve more difficult financial aid and customer service issues (25%).
- Request and post Graduate Assistantship tuition differentials each semester.
- Post external scholarships in Banner and Microsoft Access.
- Post Georgia Student Finance applications (GSFAPPs) for HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarship.
- Process HOPE and Zell Miller transient requests.
- Process Selective Service requirements and respond to related inquiries.
- Process Georgia HERO Scholarship applications.
- Process Georgia Public Safety Memorial Grant applications.
- Complete and process ad hoc scholarship verification.
- Process time sensitive athletic scholarship non-renewal letters.
- Evaluate students for Federal Work-Study eligibility.
- Review and approve scholarship thank-you letters in Scholarship Universe.
- Notify scholarship recipients in Scholarship Universe.
High School Diploma and three (3) years of related work experience.
Proposed Salary$17.47/hr ($36,328/annual)
