Patient Account Representative

Acadia Healthcare -  - Responsibilities:
Administers a collections program for the collection of patients accounts receivable;
Meets with patients daily to discuss financial obligation and will provide patient account services to include verifying patient insurance benefits/eligibility, create financial charts, obtain required patient signatures and collect any due patient charges;
Reviews claims issues and make corrections as needed and rebill; utilizes claims clearing house to review and correct claims; resubmits electronically when available;
Manages daily productivity via patient accounting system and productivity reports; maintains an average of 30-40 accounts worked per day;
Alerts Financial Counselors and Business Office Director of all benefit eligibility matters that suggest or challenge reimbursement
