Job Title: Slate Functional Technologist

Location: Summerville Campus

Job Summary

The Slate Functional Technologist supports and optimizes the use of Technolutions’ Slate CRM to support enrollment and student success at Augusta University. The position is part of the Slate Team within Enrollment Management and involves collaboration with information technology, external vendors, and university departments.

Responsibilities
  • Slate Development: Develop, implement, and support deployment, growth and optimization of Slate to address business needs; configure and customize the system; document business requirements and translate them into system needs; support institution‑level technology use.
  • User Support: Serve as champion for all Slate users; provide in‑depth training and training resources; communicate system enhancements in non‑technical terms; collaborate with faculty and administrators to advocate for enhancements; maintain thorough documentation.
  • System Maintenance: Create user reports; ensure database performance and accurate data integrations with third‑party systems such as the SIS; implement system rules to reduce manual processes; test and validate updates and new functionalities.
  • Communication: Assist users in creating and scheduling communications including email, text, and event management; advise on optimizing student engagement and monitoring metrics; monitor associated expenses and ensure securities.
  • User Security: Maintain user security and access through roles and permissions; participate in Slate governance and oversight for security processes.
  • Other: Perform any duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of higher‑education experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of higher‑education experience in a technology‑based role.
  • Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM and Banner (SIS).
  • Experience delivering technical user training to varied levels.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of integrated institutional/information systems.
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and report on data trends related to enrollment metrics and campaign performance.
  • Understanding and experience with Technolutions Slate CRM.
  • Competence in developing and maintaining standardized datasets for ad‑hoc reporting.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
  • Familiarity with change‑management principles.
  • Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and document SOPs.
Shift / Salary / Benefits

Shift: Days;
Monday‑Friday (outside of standard business hours may be required). Salary: $62,300‑$65,550.79 annually, commensurate with qualifications. Pay Band: B12. Recruitment Period:
Until Filled.
