Financial System Administrator

Position Summary Provides full-spectrum Information Technology and Financial Systems support. Performs both Computer Systems Administration and Financial Systems Application Administration duties to ensure uninterrupted daily operations and long-term system viability.

Install, configure, and maintain approximately 55 government workstations, monitors, printers, scanners, and peripherals in accordance with AFNETOPS and local Communications Unit guidance.

Apply Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC)/Federal Desktop Computer Configuration (FDCC), security patches, and configuration changes.

Serve as Unit Information Technology Asset Manager (ITAM) and Equipment Custodian; maintain accurate inventory, hand receipts, and excess equipment disposal.

Serve as Information Assurance Officer (IAO) and Cyber Workforce Personnel (CWP) liaison; open/track Remedy and IAO Express tickets; administer Active Directory via Directory Resource Administrator (DRA).

Serve as Telephone Control Operator (TCO) for VoIP troubleshooting and ticket submission.

Administer AF Portal and SharePoint content.

Provide limited one-on-one Microsoft Office, Windows, Power BI, and telework tool training.

Maintain printer consumables inventory and initiate vendor support calls under warranty.

Provide hardware/software acquisition recommendations and monthly status reporting.

Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Comptroller-specific financial applications (including but not limited to AFM, CDS, CRIS, DEAMS, DJMS, DMO, DTS, EOM, FM Suite, IAPS, JOCAS, ADVANA, Leave Web, PIEE, and others listed in PWS Appendix
1).

Serve as the technical point of contact (not functional user) for application issues.

Provide same-day response and initiate resolution/escalation within a maximum of 8 business hours for all reported application, operating system, database, and server malfunctions.

Develop and maintain Continuity of Operations procedures and binders (reviewed quarterly) for all financial applications.

Facilitate collaboration among all ACC FSAs via SharePoint and community-of-interest sites.

Manage operability of iPhones, VoIP phones, Blackberries, PDAs, conference room projection equipment, and VTC systems.

Unpack, inspect, test, set up, and relocate hardware (lift up to 35-40 lbs).

Coordinate with HQ ACC/FMF, Defense Mega Centers, Enterprise Service Desk, and local Communications personnel.

Fully qualified under DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451 - System Administrator, Intermediate level prior to start of performance.

U.S. Citizen.

Active Secret clearance; IT-II certification and adjudicated SSBI required for privileged access.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and standard desktop support.

Ability to lift and carry 35-40 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with hardware installation and relocation.

Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Prior experience supporting Air Force or DoD financial systems listed in PWS Appendix 1.

Experience as an IT Asset Manager, Information Assurance Officer, or Equipment Custodian.

Familiarity with AF Portal/SharePoint administration and Remedy ticketing systems.

CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification.
