Kia Lube Technician

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing lube-related services for customers in a professional and efficient manner.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Other Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information; professional personal appearance; excellent communication skills; ability to meet company’s production and quality standards.

• Move throughout the company facility for most of the shift.
• Spend time outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Infrequently sit; frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, reach overhead, climb stairs, and perform repetitive hand/finger movements.
• Regularly lift over 50 lbs, grasp/grab, push, and pull.

• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ask questions and listen to determine management, production, and quality requirements.
• Attend meetings and participate in performance management.
• Set personal performance goals aligned with company standards and review actions regularly.
• Stay informed about industry terminology and technological changes.
• Comply with legal and work policies, including confidentiality.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Perform lube oil filter services and vehicle inspections professionally.
• Provide dependable customer service.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
• Follow service instructions and complete paperwork accurately.
• Keep technical skills current through training.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaner after service than before.
