The Materials Supervisor role provides management of raw materials, including inventory and storage, while maintaining safe work practices. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

• Maintain the right people in the right seats within the department team to achieve ownership and accountability, providing day-to-day coaching and guidance to department team members to develop them to their fullest potential.
• Manage the resin inventory by evaluating needs, making plans for storage & usage, & assist in vendor procurement.
• Receive resins & make inventory adjustments within the ERP system.
• Complete electric work as per job requirements and training under NFPA 70E electrical and arc flash requirements.
• Coordinate with Accounting and perform root cause analysis on large variances.
• Coordinate with resin buyer on vendor quality issues.
• Focus on cross-training, continuous learning and improvement.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
