General

Summary:

The Manufacturing Coordinator performs various electrical fabrication tasks under the direct supervision of the Division Manager. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement principles. The coordinator will manage scope, timeline, cost, risk, and quality to ensure successful project completion and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end‑to‑end manufacturing initiatives, including new product introductions, process improvements, continuous improvement, and facility expansions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including time studies, resources, and deliverables.
  • Support the introduction of new products and processes into the production environment.
  • Monitor project progress and performance; identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Ensure projects comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams on process enhancements and root cause investigations.
  • Conduct training for production staff on equipment, processes, and safety procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage project documentation and records.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform job in a safe manner, understanding and following safety policies and procedures and making suggestions to improve the workplace.
Preferred Job

Skills:
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • OSHA 10 Hour, CPR, and First Aid trained.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical device).
  • Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Must be an effective and professional communicator.
Experience & Requirements:
  • License:
    Valid state driver's license.
  • Certification:
    Lean Six Sigma 6 Black Belt Preferred.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production support role.
