Repair Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Administrative duties related to labor reporting and material consumption. SKILLS/SPECIFICATIONS:
* Ability to read and interpret technical and regulatory documents.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to develop creative solutions and provide technical expertise on projects.
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
* Ability to climb ladders to heights of approximately 14 feet high, bend, stoop, stretch, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds to set-up tables and/or attach to tank cars.
* Ability to enter tank cars via a manway opening of 18” to 20” in diameter.
* Ability to tolerate both heights and confined spaces.
* Possess considerable stamina to perform the essential functions over a large geographical plant area.
* Ability and availability to work considerable overtime hours that may often be required.
* Be willing and able to wear safety equipment, such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hard hats, earplugs, and respirators.
* Have vision correctable to 20/20 for inspection activities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/

QUALIFICATIONS:

HS Diploma required with a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Strong background knowledge of AAR and FRA rule administration. Understanding of tank car design, components and regulatory requirements.
