Marmon - 400 South Blanchard Street - Responsibilities:
Prepare interior or exterior surface of tank or hopper car for coating or lining by removing rust, weld slag, scale or other contaminants using blast nozzles;
Remove grit and dust after blasting with air gun;
Remove weld spatter and sharp edges from inside tank/hopper cars by grinding;
Mask off components to prevent coating on areas not to be sprayed;
Apply coatings using airless spray equipment following specifications;
Monitor bake temperature and bake procedure until completion;
Maintain and store records of baking operations;
Apply decals to tank or hopper car exterior as required;
Maintain a neat and orderly work area and wear PPE as required
