Overview
Now hiring for a Pack Operator
Location:
Valdosta, GA
Pay Rate: $23.75 per hour
Schedule:
12-hour rotating shifts (7 AM-7 PM + 7 PM-7 AM) | 2-3-2 rotating schedule. Alternate between day and night shifts every two weeks. Includes weekend work as part of the rotation.

Looking for a direct hire opportunity in manufacturing? Staffmark is hiring a Pack Operator to inspect, package, and prepare finished products for shipment. If you re detail-oriented, safety-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, this could be the opportunity for you!
Pack Operator Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, production, or packaging experience preferred.
- Experience operating production or packaging equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
- Basic computer skills for production documentation.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Job Duties
- Inspect finished products for visual and physical defects.
- Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment.
- Set up machines for product changeovers.
- Arrange, package, and palletize finished products.
- Load packaging materials, including bags, strapping, and stretch wrap.
- Perform rework, re-bagging, and scrap removal as needed.
- Assist with machine startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and routine cleaning.
- Complete production documentation and report quality or equipment concerns.
- Follow all safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift, move, and handle production materials throughout the shift.
- Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Perform detailed visual inspections of finished products.
- Work safely around production equipment.
