Location: Valdosta, GA
Pay Rate: $70,000.00 per year

Are you an experienced manufacturing professional with strong equipment and production skills? Staffmark is hiring a Packaging Changeover Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity. In this role, you ll support packaging line changeovers, prepare equipment for new bottle formats, and help ensure production runs efficiently. Responsibilities- Perform packaging line changeovers for new bottle shapes and production runs
- Change and adjust conveyor belts, lasers, boxing equipment, and palletizers
- Prepare packaging equipment to meet production requirements
- Support efficient startup and operation after equipment changes
- Troubleshoot equipment issues during changeover processes
- Verify equipment settings and functionality to maintain quality standards
- Communicate production needs and issues with team members and leadership
- Assist with training and knowledge transfer as needed
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Technical training or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production operations required
- Experience with packaging equipment changeovers preferred
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to adjust and troubleshoot equipment
- Ability to learn and support multiple production systems
- Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting production goals
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to train on the first shift before transitioning to nights
- Ability to work a 12-hour overnight shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform hands-on equipment adjustments
- Ability to work around manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment required for changeovers
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with production equipment setup
