Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Staffmark is hiring an experienced Mold Repair Bench Hand to inspect, repair, and maintain mold equipment that supports efficient manufacturing operations. If you have experience with mold repair, blueprint reading, welding, and precision measuring tools, we’d love to hear from you!
Mold Repair Bench Hand Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Welding training or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of glass mold repair or equivalent experience.
- Experience with mold repair, maintenance, and inspection.
- Knowledge of Oxy/Acetylene, TIG, Powder Spray, or similar welding methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (metric and imperial).
- Proficient with precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Lift to 35 pounds.
- Perform repetitive hand movements and precision work.
- Stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.
- Maintain visual accuracy when inspecting parts (corrective lenses acceptable).
- Inspect mold equipment to ensure it meets specifications.
- Repair and maintain mold equipment using welding and precision tools.
- Set up and operate mold repair and inspection equipment.
- Maintain spare mold inventory to support production schedules.
- Complete repair records and report defective equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve equipment issues.
- Assist with training team members.
- Follow plant safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
