Family Nurse Practitioner

Exciting Full‑Time Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Valdosta, GA!

Kids Street Urgent Care is growing, and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team full time. You will provide patient‑focused care in an urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine setting. The ideal applicant will be able to lead a small team while working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced urgent care environment.

This is an early‑career opportunity for FNPs, including brand‑new graduates. Following on‑site orientation and training, you will work under the supervision of experienced providers and receive ongoing support such as a pediatric urgent‑care continuing education course and on‑call NP support.

As an FNP, you will use your full scope of practice to treat patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients. In this role you will diagnose and manage a wide range of acute conditions and perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and foreign‑object removal.

• Diagnose and treat illnesses such as cold, flu, strep, COVID‑19, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign‑object removal, suturing, splinting).
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X‑rays (with radiologist over‑read).
• Provide general dermatology, eye, and EKG interpretation services.
• Apply emergency management skills as needed.
• Attend to general gynecology needs.
• Treat children and adults of all ages.
• Manage occupational medicine and telemedicine consultations.
• Lead a small team of medical assistants and provide professional mentorship.

Kids Street Clinic

Hours:

Open extended hours, 7 days a week.

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Sample schedule:

• Week 1:
  Mon (ON), Tue (ON), Wed (OFF), Thu (OFF), Fri (OFF), Sat (ON), Sun (ON).
• Week 2:
  Mon (OFF), Tue (OFF), Wed (ON), Thu (ON), Fri (ON), Sat (OFF), Sun (OFF).

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (new graduates welcome).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) preferred.
