Registered Nurse- Day Shift

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Valdosta State Prison located in Valdosta, Georgia.

• Shift: Day (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, rotating weekends)
• Education Level: Associate’s Degree

$41 – $46 per hour.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi‑disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

• Associate’s degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active certification in Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screening and criminal background check
