Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Position Summary
What you’ll do includes providing member service, maintaining checkout area, resolving member issues, promoting Sam’s Club products and services, guiding members on self‑service technology, processing purchases, handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and ensuring safety and security standards.
Additional duties include maintaining entrance and exit areas, assisting with purchases, transporting items, guarding assets, logging paperwork, and executing emergency procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provides member service and supports shopping experience.
- Maintains checkout area and processes member purchases.
- Assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
- Follows safety standards, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe situations.
- Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership, and zones merchandise.
- Ensures a safe shopping environment and arranges merchandise.
- Assesses and reports shrink and damages.
- Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
- Executes emergency response procedures and follows security and safety practices.
- Provides training to associates on processes, procedures, new technologies, and programs.
- Works collaboratively with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners.
- Promotes integrity, ethics, and compliance, and models Walmart values.
- Operates as part of a team, communicates effectively and positively.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
