- Engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in-person and virtually, serving as a business advisor to customers
- Utilize CRM software to track daily activities, optimize sales calls, and follow up on customer requests
- Conduct regular field visits to customers, requiring travel three to four days per week
- Perform occasional lifting or moving of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in sales, preferably in outside sales within the building materials or construction industries
- Knowledge or experience in building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, or millwork is preferred
- Highly motivated with the ability to self‑direct, manage time, and plan effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must possess independent, reliable transportation for regular travel to customer locations
- Previous experience in consultative sales within the construction or building materials sector
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking software
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building customer relationships
- Ability to adapt to various customer needs and provide tailored solutions
