We are seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our team! As an Irrigation Technician, you will be traveling to a worksite, evaluating a customer's needs, and installing irrigation systems based on manufacturer and company standards. You will also maintain existing irrigation systems, troubleshoot problems, and make adjustments as needed. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outside and has previous experience with landscaping or irrigation.
Minimum Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to install commercial irrigation systems to include 2-wire irrigation systems.
- Must have at least 12 months experience with a professional company.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, like skid‑steers and mini‑excavators, desired
- Install and inspect irrigation systems based on manufacturer and company specifications
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing irrigation systems
The required skills enable the Irrigation Installer to accurately interpret technical plans and execute installations that meet design and regulatory standards. Proficiency in plumbing and electrical basics is essential for connecting system components and ensuring operational integrity. Strong problem‑solving skills are used daily to identify and resolve issues such as leaks or coverage gaps, ensuring system efficiency and client satisfaction. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with automated and smart irrigation systems, allow the installer to implement advanced technologies that optimize water use and system performance.
Effective communication and teamwork skills facilitate collaboration with clients and colleagues, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.
