* We're currently seeking an  
** SCA-*
* ** Electronics Technician
** to perform Installation on physical access control systems (PACS) and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) including access keypads, card readers, sensors, control panels, application server configuration, and low-voltage wiring on the Ft Gordon military installation.

** RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* + Performs nonroutine and occasionally heavy labor tasks related to onsite physical access control systems (PACS) and intrusion detection systems (IDS) including access keypads, card readers, sensors, control panels, application server configuration, and low-voltage wiring

+ Operates trucks, hand tools, light (1-man) power tools, and aerial man-lifts

+ Maintains appropriate logs of activities

+ Tests, calibrates, repairs, and modifies control and instrumentation systems at onsite locations under general supervision

+ Assignments are undertaken independently on a regular basis

+ Prepares required field and office reports of various activities and findings

+ Initiates basic reports and/or establishes and maintains logs and records.

+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

** REQUIREMENTS:*
* + 3+ years of experience working on security systems

+ Ability to obtain access to base

+ Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

+ Must be a US citizen and have a current Valid driver's license

QUALIFICATIONS:

*
* + Relevant background in low voltage electronics, physical security, access control, maintenance, and repair activities

+ Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

+ Certifications in ESS Systems (Lenel, Hirsch, DAQ, Milestone)

** PHYSICAL REQ*
* ** UIREMENTS:*
* + Ability to work at high elevations

+ Lift and carry 30+ pounds

+ Pull, stand, and work in confined spaces; crouch for long periods of time; and work under inclement cold weather conditions

** Security Clearance Requirement:*
* None
