Experienced Combo Welder​/Pipe Fitter

Elite Construction is seeking an experienced and reliable Cobo Welder/Pipe Fitter for commercial projects in and around the area.

Responsible for performing pipe welding procedures on stainless steel and copper‑nickel pipe using GTAW (TIG) welding, as well as other welding tasks defined below.

• Weld stainless steel and carbon steel pipe using Stick and TIG welding techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings.
• Perform cutting, grinding, and welding of various metal components.
• Maintain a clean work area and wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, mask/respirator, welding hood, leather protective gear, and steel‑toe shoes).
• Assist teammates, coordinate with crew members and shop foreman, and complete tasks without direct supervision.
• Inspect, disassemble, and report on component damage; conduct field measurements.
• Perform basic hydraulic work, conveyor belt repair, crusher liner changes, and water pump servicing as needed.

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience; at least 2 years required.
• Proficient in flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal arc welding (SMAW, flux‑core, TIG, and air‑arc).
• Must pass on‑site welding test and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are mandatory.
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites, including overnight stays.
• Military experience encouraged.
• High school diploma or GED not required.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow safety procedures are essential.

Regular hours Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with overtime and occasional weekends. The position may require out‑of‑town trips.

Hourly rate of $24.00 to $29.00, commensurate with experience.
