Job Summary

Perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of campus plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and associated piping systems and fixtures. Ensure reliable and code‑compliant operation of plumbing infrastructure across campus facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems including water distribution systems, sanitary sewer systems, storm drainage systems, fixtures, valves, and piping infrastructure. Diagnose issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Respond to work orders and service calls related to plumbing issues. Assess problems, determine necessary repairs, and complete work in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and components in accordance with established schedules to minimize failures and extend system life.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and equipment to identify leaks, blockages, code concerns, or potential failures. Recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition. Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications

Required Experience

  • High school diploma and three (3) years of related work experience.
  • An Associate’s degree or advanced licensure in a relevant trade may be substituted for three years of required work experience.
Proposed Salary

$22.57/hr ($46,938/annual)
