Streets & Stormwater Heavy Equipment Operator

The City-of-Valdosta is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator responsible for operating backhoe, excavator, and bulldozer for street and stormwater system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of safety procedures and landscaping, along with experience operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include trimming city trees, transporting equipment to work sites, and maintaining assigned vehicles. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid Georgia driver’s license. This role is critical to maintaining the city’s infrastructure.
