Position Summary

Title: Material Handler, Manufacturing

Location: Walmart Dairy Plant #11270, 5200 Inner Perimeter Rd, Valdosta, GA

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources.
• Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
• Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks.
• Communicate progress and information; recommend improvements.
• Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment such as pallet jacks, lifts, and pacers.
• Identify, count, separate, combine, and scan freight.
• Use warehouse systems, terminals, scales, and scanners; maintain records, logs, and forms.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Maintain work‑area organization and freight flow; keep areas clean and stack empty pallets.
• Monitor freight to ensure cold‑chain and species compliance.
• Demonstrate skills in palletizing, machinery operation, cold‑chain handling, material handling, order picking, and operating pallet jacks.

Hourly wage range: $21.90 – $27.40 per hour. Premiums of up to $3.00 per hour may apply.
