Job SummaryThe Warehouse Lead is an integral part of the Operations Team by ensuring accurate inventory levels, and leading receiving processes for production.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely receipt of raw goods
- Define and implement receiving and shipping process, improve material flow in the plant
- Controls inventory levels by conducting cycle counts and reconciling with warehouse team
- Coordinates/organizes staging and shipping of products
- Analyze root cause for inventory discrepancy and develop corrective action plan to resolve defined issue
- Supports training of any new warehouse employees or other employees interacting with warehouse
- Identify and find new opportunities to improve safety and inventory control procedures
- Maintain and update key performance indicators
- Demonstrated commitment to achieving the organization's goals and objectives
- Ability to think strategically and interact with all levels of the organization
- Problem Solver with the ability to innovate and improve processes
- High ethical standards
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with ERP software strongly desired
- At least 3 years experience with progressive responsibility in warehouse role
- Experience managing others is a plus
- Forklift Certification strongly desired
